Portraits are invariably painted from life, over several sittings. Christopher is also expert at painting posthumous portraits from good quality photographs.
Sittings: Sittings can be at the artist's studio or at your home or place of work anywhere in the world. The most important thing is to create the perfect ambience in which to relax and enjoy the attention.

Prices: commissioning a portrait may cost less than you think. Pencil or charcoal studies start at a few hundred pounds, pastels approximately two or three times as much and oils from a thousand pounds. However each commission is unique, so it is essential to discuss your particular requirements to calculate an exact figure without any obligation. Christopher is very happy to work to your budget & never charges a penny more no matter how long it takes. He can work to strict deadlines if needed.
